Choosing the Right Web Site Designer
You've made up your mind. You want to have a website to represent your business. The next decision to be made . . . who should you hire to develop your site? There are many people capable of building their own personal sites. They can put cute little comments and pictures of their pets or kids up for you to enjoy. Someone who has an understanding of the Internet and what is the best way to boost the exposure of a website.
Make your site's navigation options highly visible
Effective navigation stands out. It's clear, obvious, and highly visible. You'll need to have a clear section of the page designated for navigation--one that a visitor will immediately recognize as the navigation area when he arrives at the site. Navigation should not necessarily be the prime focus, but it must be highly visible.

If you're doing business on the Internet, one of the most important aspects of your success is your web site. If your web site doesn't look professional, no matter what product you're offering, your chance of success will be minimal.
Web Design Mistakes - Graphics
Good design involves a good balance of text and graphic design. How many graphics you choose to use on your web page, if any, depends on what your site is about. A sales letter page about a virtual downloadable product doesn't need a lot of graphics. For example, an e-book page may contain graphics of a book cover (for example of a book cover graphic, see http://www.brealweb.com/writing/freebook.asp), bullets, a header and navigational links which are all small, fast loading graphics files. However, an art gallery will have a lot of graphics, and a visitor to that site will be expecting a lot of images.

4 Tips to a More Visitor-Friendly Website
I remember my very first website. Plus it used frames, something I thought would ease navigation for my visitors. What an astonishing display of talent!
How to Create an Effective Navigation Structure for Your Site - Part 2
Searching for information on the Web has recently become like a mine field. You find the site you want, only to be greeted by pop-ups when you enter, pop-ups when you are on the site and pop-ups when you leave. Webjunxsion is Foraging It's Way Through the Muddle
Webjunxsion has come a long way since September of 2003. There webpage was VERY unprofessional in the beginning as you can see at http://www.webjunxsion.com/home. Come on guys let's get it together ok? When they accomplish this I believe that they will have leaped over a major hurdle.

Product Review: FrontPage 2000
Several years ago (way back in 1994) I had to put together a heck of a lot of documentation to help me get my job done. I started with Microsoft Word, writing over a thousand pages in a couple of months. This was all documentation about how to manage our mainframe computer system and it's associated application programs.
